Volunteers are a core part of our vision to build strong communities where everyone can flourish.

Volunteer 2

Protecting your safety during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic is our top priority. As a result, we are adapting our volunteer opportunities to adhere to government guidelines and physical distancing – whilst ensuring our vital work can continue.

As a result, it may take longer for us to respond to your enquiry and connect you with a suitable volunteer position. We would still love for you to connect with us today, and we promise to be in touch as soon as possible.

You can connect with us by emailing hello@cuf.org.uk or calling 0203 752 5655.

Could you be a Together Network Champion?

You could be helping to mobilise local churches, encouraging them to make a transformational difference in the lives of people in their neighbourhoods. We believe that the local church is uniquely placed to bring lasting change in deprived communities and that.

We are always looking for dynamic people to promote the ideas and to raise funds for our work in support of society’s most marginalised.

As a Together Network champion, you will be at the forefront of awareness raising, telling the story of Christian love in action at a local level. With the backing of our resources and personal support in your area, you will be part of a network of strategic volunteers who share a passion to see some of the poorest communities in our nation elevated from poverty.

Would you like to become a speaker for us?

Church Urban Fund is looking for skilled speakers and presenters to raise awareness and understanding of poverty in England. We need volunteers to engage with churches across the country and encourage them to support Church Urban Funds work, through giving, action and prayer.

This is an exciting opportunity to live out the gospel teaching to love our neighbour and to use your gifts to inspire churches and individuals into action.

What is involved?

Preaching – speaking and preaching at church services about the issues of poverty and the work of the Church Urban Fund.

Presenting – at other church events and local meetings.

Praying – leading prayer groups and praying individually for the work of the Church Urban Fund and the projects we support.

You can get involved as little or as much as you’d like. Whatever you can offer will make a difference.
