This Easter, help us provide a human lifeline to people like John with no-one to turn to.
“It was a dark time, and it got me down. I wasn’t in a great mental space but my mentor helped pull me through. It meant the world.’
John faced a crisis when he was stuck in a depressing homeless hostel, at risk of redundancy. He turned to the CUF-supported Lighthouse project, who paired him with a volunteer mentor. This built John’s confidence and skills – he was able to hold onto his job, and found secure accommodation. You can read his story here.

Acting in solidarity with rough sleepers
CUF brings together people who give, act and pray about our broken society, and collectively, our faith is working wonders. For example, Andrew and his friends spend a night under tarpaulins every December, to raise vital funds for us. They said;
‘We wanted to act in solidarity with those who are down on their luck’.
