Give this Easter and be part of God’s love in struggling communities
Love that turns faith into action
This Easter we remember the deepest expression of God’s love revealed through the cross and resurrection of Jesus. A love willing to enter pain, grief, betrayal and poverty, and transform them with hope. This love is not distant or symbolic. It moves through you, into communities that are hurting. Scripture reminds us, “Let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth” (1 John 3:18). Your generosity becomes welcome, warmth and practical support, helping people feel seen and valued.
Because of you, parents like Lee are finding their way through dark seasons. After his relationship ended, Lee was left caring for two children and struggling to cope. “I was in a pretty dark place,” he told us, “overthinking everything, and in danger of making bad choices.”
Your support helped Hope Hut, one of CUF’s Places of Welcome, a simple space rooted in community. There, Lee found kindness and belonging. “They were interested in me, which felt amazing,” he said. “They put the kettle on when I walk through the door and they’re here for me.” Today, Lee gives back as a volunteer, offering the same welcome he once received.
Lee is just one of the many inspiring people you can meet at projects supported by CUF
