Coronavirus Won’t Stop Our Super Savings Clubs!

The Coronavirus pandemic has forced many parts of ‘normal’ life to be paused, work differently or be stopped entirely.

Education was sadly an area affected by these changes, with many schools closing their gates for the first time since the second world war.

This meant that for the Just Finance Foundation’s LifeSavers schools, learning how to use money wisely and thinking about the Christian values of wisdom, kindness, generosity and thankfulness was temporarily put on hold.

Whilst sadly many schools had to shut, some LifeSavers schools were able to stay open. Of the schools that stayed open, two schools even managed to continue run socially distant Savings Clubs sessions! St Patricks school in Liverpool and All Saints Church of England primary in Lewisham both managed to keep their children practising the valuable life lesson of saving regularly, despite the obstacle of a pandemic!

We’re incredibly proud of the dedication shown by our St Patrick and All Saints schools, teachers and in particular, our super Savings Clubs members at these schools!
