Church Urban Fund is working with churches and community groups across England to put faith into action and create strong, loving communities.
Our Places of Welcome network equips churches to invite communities to come together, to work with their deep understanding of their local areas and provide support to people of all ages and backgrounds.
Every week, over 14,000 people are supported by Places of Welcome. But the need is still great.
Many local churches can't provide vital services like Places of Welcome without our support.
The Impact of Places of Welcome:
Government’s Community Life Survey reveals that approximately 3 million people in England often or always feel isolated. We're striving to change this narrative. Over 14,000 people find companionship and support weekly at Places of Welcome.
