Grow with GRA:CE

How can churches better engage people in our local communities? How can volunteers benefit our congregations? How does social action encourage people to explore their own spirituality and relationship with God?

After three years exploring these important questions, the findings of the GRA:CE Project are now available. The final report highlights the transformative power of social action and its relationship with church growth and discipleship in the Church of England.

Download the full report below to delve into the research and findings and learn from the diverse voices of clergy and parishioners who share their stories with us.

Active participation in church life and supporting our communities is a natural part of Christian life. But often, people outside our regular congregations aren’t sure how they can get involved.

To support your church, we are now developing tools and practical solutions for growing and sustaining local participation in church activities that benefit the wider community.

You can help continue this vital project by donating to our Grow with GRA:CE project. Your contribution will help equip churches with the tools and resources to grow and enhance social action in your own congregations, and help share these resources with parishes across England.

"At Bishop Wand Church of England School we have thoroughly enjoyed supporting CUF as our school charity for three years. It has been a joy and a great learning experience for our school to raise money and also learn about the great work the charity supports throughout the England."
