Near Neighbours
Near Neighbours helps people make their communities stronger. We are working tirelessly to keep our communities connected in this difficult time.
Making communities stronger
Near Neighbours helps people make their communities stronger. By encouraging people to get to know each other and work together they can build relationships of trust and improve their neighbourhoods.
It’s not about, religion, class or ethnicity. It’s all about community.
We have created innovative solutions to tackle isolation and maintain community networks.
Small Grants
The programme offers small grants between £250 and £5,000, as seed funding for local groups working together to improve their neighbourhood.
Hubs across the country
We have Near Neighbours hubs across the north of England in Manchester (covering Bury, Rochdale, Oldham), Lancashire (covering Hyndburn, Rossendale, Blackburn with Darwen, Burnley and Pendle), and West Yorkshire (covering Leeds, Bradford and Dewsbury).
In the Midlands we have hubs in Birmingham, the Black Country (covering Wolverhampton, Sandwell, Walsall and Dudley), and the East Midlands (Leicester and Nottingham).
In the South of England our hubs are in Luton, Peterborough and two hubs covering most of London.
Together Network
We are driven by the desire to tackle social inequality across England.
Just Finance Foundation
We want a fair financial system for everyone.
Places of Welcome
Sometimes the simple ideas are the best. Places of Welcome is a network supported by Near Neighbours and Together Network, which provides places where people can meet regularly for a cup of tea and a chat.
