Governance and Operations Officer

We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual with a practical understanding of charity governance and company secretarial responsibilities to work closely with our senior management team and trustees. You will be responsible for ensuring our governance policies, procedures and compliance requirements are met with excellent attention to detail in a timely and coordinated manner. You will need to be organised, manage conflicting demands and communicate clearly at all times. In addition, you will also provide support in areas of HR and Health and Safety compliance within the organisation to uphold a safe, efficient and positive working environment for all.

This role will suit someone who is highly organised, process driven, enjoys the management of multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, and works independently. You will enjoy and be attentive on detail in policies and procedures demonstrated by an ability to summarise key information to support staff and trustees in their understanding of the requirements. The ideal candidate will be mindful of the complexities of working in a fast paced, agile organisation with multiple entities, understanding the keys to communicating effectively, appropriately and efficiently within this environment.

Location: Flexible working arrangements will be considered. Our office is based in Vauxhall, London. A hybrid working model is in place for home and office working.

Contract: Permanent Hours: 35 hours per week (Requirement to attend board meetings out of normal office hours will be required)

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience
