Job Title: Fundraising Direct Marketing Coordinator

Accountable to: Supporter Development Manager

Hours of work: 35 hours a week (9am to 5pm with 1 hour unpaid lunch break)

Base: The Foundry, 17 Oval Way, Vauxhall, London, SE11 5RR

Salary: £28,000 per annum or pro rata

Contract: Fixed term contract

Annual Leave: 22 days per annum (pro rata)

Do you have the passion and experience to lead a variety of integrated direct marketing appeals and campaigns? You will be helping the Church Urban Fund raise vital funds towards our mission to support the most vulnerable members of our communities.

We are looking for a highly skilled, driven Fundraising Direct Marketing Coordinator to join our growing Fundraising Supporter Development Team.

The Fundraising Direct Marketing Coordinator will work with the Supporter Development Manager to maximise income and engagement through direct marketing activities to individuals, churches and key supporters. You will also work closely with colleagues in the Fundraising and Communications teams and external service providers, including copywriters, designers, print production and fulfilment.

This is a new role in a small, dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in fundraising and direct marketing, with proven success in delivering direct marketing activities to a range of audiences. This role will suit someone who is self-motivated with excellent organisation and time management skills.

Essential knowledge

  • Experience and understanding of the steps and best practice involved in delivering direct marketing activities, especially appeals and campaigns
  • Knowledge of the fundraising and direct marketing industry and legal requirements
  • Proven experience implementing techniques and tactics to maximise financial and non-financial results

Essential skills

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to coordinate numerous stakeholders successfully to deliver outcomes within defined timelines and budgets
  • Creative thinking, and the ability to develop campaign propositions and concepts
  • Experience in budget development and forecasting
  • Experience using CRM, particularly Salesforce
