Braving the cold, wind and rain on a December night, the Summit Youth Group in Haslemere headed out for their second sleepout challenge two years running. The young people recognise injustice and want to see change for those experiencing homelessness.

Last year at the sleepout, being together with loads of friends was fun, but then imagining it being outside by yourself, you would just feel quite lonely.

When an issue is close to their hearts, it really matters to them and they want to be involved. Discipleship is at the core of the Summit Group, and as we encourage living out our faith, we’re always looking for ways we can help in the community. Looking for where God is at work, and joining in.
